Yg nie aku copy dr website coach aleeya ....terima kasih pada coach aleeya ....tq so much ya !!!!...
After all said and done.....
I had a few days to digest everything that happen at the recent Pesta Gimnastik 2008.... It was disappointing but after all said and done, I believe that in a sport as subjective as rhythmic gymnastic.....despite the results that was announced, we went back as winners in our own ways and I'm very proud of them all. Hugs and kisses all around for each and every one of them :)
I remember Anis (3 years old) 6 months ago..... a very timid and quiet girl she was. Her mom told me that Anis saw rhythmic gymnastic on tv and was very excited to learn the sport. She is like a rubber band, very flexible that you can bend her anyway you want. At the age of 3, she actually at times tell me not to help her. It shows great determination on her part. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.
I remember Jing Wen (4 years old) 4 months ago.....she would cry uncontrollably at each and every lesson. Now, she doesn't cry anymore and she is eager to learn new things and I can see her mom at the corner smiling proudly. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.
Yee Qing (4 years old).....she was having fever on the day of the competition. There isn't much ventilation at the stadium and that doesn't help at all. She was already sleeping after taking her medicines but come time for the team to perform, we asked her one final time if she was up to it. Her mom said no, she can't. We were ready to start without her when..... she woke up and said she wants to do it. It shows great will power on her part. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.
(5 years old) 3 months ago.....she is a dreamer. She is always in her own world. Now she is more alert, she makes sure she counts her every move cause she knows that she's gonna get a hell of a screaming if she does a mistake. Most importantly, she does it with a smile on her face. She enjoys what she is doing and given the time, I believe that she has potential. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.
Chermonne (5 years old) 7 months ago.....she cried during her first lesson. She was from a club in Selangor and when she came for the trial lesson she felt left behind. Most of the other girls could already do all sort of things and she can't. I had a talk with her and encourage her to give it another try.....She came back, again and again and again.... She didn't give up and now she is at par with the rest of the girls perhaps better. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.
Ika and Ira (5 years old) and Alysha (9 years old)....... they joined gymnaestrada last year but I wasn't to happy with them, I feel that they weren't committed cause most of the time they are not around during training. You have to understand...... gymnaestrada is a team event and to be in the team, you have to be a team player. This year they prove to be a team player and I see a vast improvement in all of them. They cry less and work harder. For that, they are winners and I'm proud of them.
Aryana (5 years old)5 months ago.....another crybaby in the lot. I never entertain crybabies unless it was because they fall down. If any of my girls were to cry, I usually let them be. After awhile the cries will subside and if it doesn't, I will call them over and have a talk with them. After which, I expect them to choose....be strong, wipe your face, drink some water and join back the group or..... pack your bag and leave. I'm proud to say that none of my girls are quitters for none of them ever leaves. Aryana have proven herself time after time that she is no quitter. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.
Jane, Khairani, Sarah Sofea, Shu Wen (6 years old) and Soo Hui (7 years old).....They've got potential. They are a joy to work with. They can be very playful at times but as I've told them before.... when it's time to play, play and when it's time to be serious, be serious. They are a very discipline lot.For that, they are winners and I'm proud of them.
Chantelle (7 years old), Cheah Hui, Joyin (8 years old) and Amanda (9 years old).....They have shown pure grit and determination. They never give up. They work hard to be at par with the rest. For I told them once, a team is only as strong as their weakest link. What they lack in, they counter back by being good leaders. For that, they are winners and I'm proud of them.
Raja Sara (8 years old)..... I applaud this girl. When we had to change the routine at the very last minute, she had a heavy task on her shoulder. Most of the changes involved her. She had to learn a different position from scratch and she pulled it off. For that, she is a winner and I'm proud of her.Winning a silly trophy is nothing compared to what they have achieved. We should be proud of them for they have in them the qualities, virtues and characters to excel in life. They have learned discipline, determination, will power, perseverance, teamwork and a whole lot more. With all these qualities, virtues and characters instilled in them...... I believe that no matter where they go or whatever their future undertakings may be, they are going to be successful at it....
As for my bigger girls, I believe that each and everyone of you know that you are winners in your own ways.... Let's not be dishearten or discourage by this.... Look at it positively, a great accomplishment is to rise from a fall... We'll be back next year with a vengeance....we will be bigger, better and stronger.....and hopefully a little wiser :)Hugs and kisses all around :) and remember.......It's all about FUN, FITNESS and FLEXIBILITY!!
